Swimming lessons
The Annual two week course in Swimming and Water Safety will take place on Gartylough Lake, Arva starting in 2 weeks time on Monday June 29. Over the years this course has been responsible for hundreds of young people learning to swim and some progressing to become Instructors and learning Life Saving qualifications. We urge as many as possible to take part in this course
Further information can be obtained from Margaret Flynn, Gartylough 087 9755 174.
Life Buoy: We would request the co-operation of the entire community in keeping a watch on the Life Buoy as some people are interfering with it. It could save a life so those who are interfering should grow up and leave it alone.
